Hello friends,

Excited to announce my new record, 3PE, is finally released into the world at large.

Listen/order here.

After a 6 year gestation, in which I'll admit I came very close to giving up this task of releasing music, it feels good to reemerge with something that signifies a new beginning of sorts.

I do maintain the hope that any music I'm lucky enough to release into the world might allow for small moments of catharsis, of release, of connection and expansion.

I want to give special thanks to Taylor Ross and the Beauty Shop residency in Fairfield, Iowa, where John Niekrasz and I recorded the drums for 'CTP'.

I'm very grateful to The Leaf Label for their generosity and patience with me all of these years - and for helping put together such beautiful packaging for this record.

I'm also honored to have Nouel Riel's photograph on the cover. Her work is consistently inspiring to me. Check it out.

To the many ways in which we can all stay committed to the practice of exploring the limits of our imagination and maintaining the hope that even the little things can inspire something greater.

Big love,

Luke Wyland

“An otherwordly album of sonic wonderment.”

“Awe-inducing playing and sudden shivers of dissonance that burn and soothe like a slug of brandy.”
Portland Mercury

“Very very good. Lovely and unusual stuff.”
Stuart Maconie, BBC 6 Music

I'm excited to announce I'll be releasing a new album, 3PE, under my LWW moniker on The Leaf Label come July 20th.

Just a bit about this new project and what it entails.

Whereas much of my work as AU was rather maximalist in it's layering and grandeur, the compositions on this new LP (and what this moniker will present from here on out) are almost all one take improvisations played on the extensive live setup I have spent years honing on tour.

You'll also hear my first explorations into creating alternate tuning systems on my keyboard that lend a few of these songs a very unique air.

The Leaf Label will be doing a limited run of beautiful vinyl and you can also find it online at all the usual digital outlets.

If you'd like to stay updated on much of what I'm doing these days, please connect to me on these social platforms. I'll do my best to keep these more updated than I have the old AU stuff.
